The Niskayuna Central School District is now accepting applications for a probationary track Occupational Therapist.

ASSIGNMENT: Student Support Services; Districtwide; .5 FTE; 10 months per year.

TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:
• Provides occupational therapy services directed toward the development and/or maintenance of a child's physical potential for functioning in all educational activities;
• Serves as a consultant to staff, parents, and the Committee on Special Education regarding occupational therapy techniques;
• Prepares and maintains records including, but not limited to, statistical reports on the frequency and types of treatment and number of students treated;
• Participates in student evaluation conferences;
• Make recommendations to supervisors for ordering supplies and equipment;
• Identifies adaptive equipment to permit a child to function more independently in the classroom;
• Communicates and coordinates with consulting and/or family physicians regarding the implementation of student's treatment plan;
• Performs a variety of related duties as required
 

Per NTA Contract - $53,973 - $70,384 MA

The Niskayuna Central School District is now accepting applications for a probationary track Occupational Therapist.
