The Niskayuna Central School District has an opening and is accepting applications for a Printing & Mailing Clerk.

ASSIGNMENT: Niskayuna High School; 30 hours per week

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: This position involves overall responsibility for managing bulk mailing and copying services provided by a centralized copying and mailing facility. The work also requires the operation of digital copiers, binding and mailing machines, and related office equipment (e.g. computer workstations). General supervision is received from a high-level administrator, with leeway allowed for making independent judgments on routine policies, procedures and schedules. Direct supervision may be exercised over clerical assistants and student workers. The incumbent does related work as required. 

The position of Printing and Mailing Clerk is a competitive Schenectady County Civil Service position. Candidate must meet Civil Service requirements for appointment. Candidates must currently hold the title of Printing and Mailing Clerk or be reachable on the Civil Service list when available. If list is not available, this will be a provisional appointment and the successful candidate must take the SCCSC exam and be reachable.

Per NSDEA Contract - $17.95 per hour

ASSIGNMENT: Districtwide; hours will vary, with a maximum of 29.5 hours per week.

$35.00 per hour
